Below are objects, from sofas, loveseats, double chairs to occasional chairs, and ottomans, available from MPF as a custom order.  From the time an order is on the schedule until it is delivered, expect 8-16 weeks until delivery.

Almost any design can be adapted and produced as a chair, ottoman, loveseat, sofa, chaise or sectional -- and we are frequently asked to produce pieces that match client's existing furniture, or to tie pieces together with an ottoman-table!  Prices vary according to the choice of stuffings and fabric and trims.

We do not produce "knock-offs" or pieces that are currently under production in other houses.

Retail outlets contact us directly to discuss special orders.

A Couch in the Woods

This nine foot sofa measures 108" x 34" x 29".    Note the single long seat cushion, wonderful for a nap!   To view production of this piece, visit our case history.

Austin's Tête-à-tête

We built Austin's Tête-à-tête for a couple who wanted to each have their separate "nook" to curl into yet sit facing each other when they wanted to talk.

 Camel Back Sleigh Sofa

This sensual sofa can be built with either a coil or sinuous spring base.  Note the single long seat cushion, wonderful for a nap!  Its lines would work well in a traditional setting, a modern setting, or an eclectic setting.

Ranch Leather Sofa, Chair, and Ottoman

A long drink of water, this is luxury!

Our Ranch Chair and Ottoman are equally luxurious.  The Ottoman is designed so that your skins can be stored when not in use!

Georgia's Double Love Chair + Ottoman

Georgia's Double Love Chair + Ottoman is large enough for two adults to cozy into.

Lion's Chairs

Built for one of our favorite clients, an adventurous woman artist!  These chairs (she ordered two) can be dressed up or down, and are deep enough for s diminutive woman to curl into!  Price includes one pillow each of complimenting material.

Turkish Revival Chair

Pulled out of Grandma's attic circa 1860, our Ice Cube Chair was restored in the spirit of it's time, right down to its lovely tapered walnut "beehive" turned legs and brass casters.  We will create it using horse hair; jute webbings, hemp burlap, linen spring twine in an 8-way hand-tie, double cotton batting toppers, and muslin undercover.  It is a button hand-tufted seat, inside back, and inside arms.

The Ice Cube originally measured 28"h x 29"d x 32"w.   It can be easily reproduced in it's diminutive size or a bit bigger for modern rooms.  A matching ottoman, with storage for a comfy blanket and your knitting materials is also available (not shown) in similar proportions.

Captain Quirk

The Captain Quirk is based on an early 50's lounge chair that commands space and attention.  If feels like a commander's chair, yet can be cozied into with a good book and your coffee will sit on its flat arms.

We interpreted it with an ethnic design reminiscent of Southwest designs from the 50's: heavy woven cotton tapestry with 100% cotton grospoint in an Indian red.  We updated the look by adding two levels to the stair-stepped base, AND, it swivels 360 degrees!  Interior is a coil spring seat and back with 8-way hand-tie, jute webbings, hemp burlap, carded hair, cotton batting toppers and muslin under-covers.   Arm tops are latex rubber and cotton batting.   Captain  Quirk  measures 31"h x 37"d x 42"w.

Little Rambler

Our Little Rambler reminds us of the Nash Rambler, a favorite car of Katie's.  She wants one done in retro upholstery, with turquoise leather with sleek silver leather cording to replace the moss fringe!  Not a loveseat, and not a chair, wonderful to meditate on, and a good bedroom piece.

Ballerina's Chair + Ottoman

Our Ballerina's Chair + Ottoman began with our Ballerina's desire for  comfortable over-stuffed tufted-back chair that was similar to an antique chair from the 1870's, but with a twist of something new!  The fabric is a ballerina pink & ivory silk damask; the trim is a rayon bullion fringe.  We can make a similar chair for you in a fabric of your choice!

Each may be sold separately.  There is a bit of savings if created and sold together.

Leather Sofa

A second custom leather sofa, this back is lowered and it is a bit more modern.

Red Pillow Sofa

This retro piece can be made modular to suit any room configuration.

Pullman Chair+ Ottoman

1940's Pullman-style chair and ottoman has wide sensuous arms, pocket down cushions, and a coil spring base.  We build this piece true to it's history!

We covered this one in a deep wine-colored cotton velvet and cotton tapestry; it is a very versatile piece!  We will custom reproduce it with or without the ottoman, which can be made with internal storage.  Beautiful!

Mister Tooth

Mister Tooth, as we named him, is a modern piece from the fifties.  This piece is no longer in production, and we can make a version of this delightful chair in a wonderful retro fabric!

Ballard's Maloof Rocker

Our master woodworker studied with Sam Maloof, and this is his tribute rocker to Maloof.  Comfortable, well balanced, a keepsake that will last for many generations!

Hassock-As-Table!

Designed by MPF, this hassock is heaven for tired feet, a lovely boudoir stool, a center piece in a lounging area, or place large trays on it and use it as a coffee table!  The filler is Pencore latex and carded hair with a cotton batting topper.  Fabric shown is a faux leopard cotton/rayon velvet trimmed in a 100% jute bullion fringe, rope braid and tassels.  Decorative nails are hand-hammered, fire-burnished brass.

Hassock measures 36" across and stands 13" high.  (These pieces can be made with storage inside and in any fabrics.)

Note:  Ottomans shown with the Ballerina's Chair, Ranch Sofa, Pullman Chair, and Georgia's Double Love Chair are also available separately!
